Today i checked just out of curiosity how many fake witter followers does Uberfacts has on SocialBakers and i was amazed what i saw. Only 18% of 8.9 million followers are real. That's 1.6million only. And they make 1k per day from Chacha with special agreement of 1 -3 cents per click. How much do you guys get per click?

How would this service know which ones are fake?

I don't know about this service...but the way I do it is by getting all of a accounts followers and seeing when each of them tweeted last. If they havn't tweeted in the last couple of months then they are probably fake.

Actually that's nothing. Justin Bieber has around 50% Fake Followers. It's normal in this game believe me.
i've seen some text on mashable or techcrunch saying that its pretty accurate and comparing it with other twitter checkers and they had similar results. Also if you inspect Uberfacts followers you will see there are way more eggs than real persons.

That's the reason I asked. No matter how you measure this, it's definitely a flawed metric. I for instance have a twitter account somewhere that I probably posted last in 2010 or soemthing...not fake....
