Just download it from github - https://github.com/iamSahdeep/fu_uber
There may be other similar projects, just download it, run it on your local server, make changes if you need (ask gpt) and deploy. Tadaa, this is all. Difficult thing is marketing, why will people use it instead of infinite number of taxi apps?

I'd say it's easy to make, but hard to maintains and market. You can pretty much create an app like that in days with React Native. But the hard part is getting people to use it.
How does one go about doing updates for it, where do I find someone to help me with monthly potential updates . The clone app is nice but what about copyright issues?
Should I be worried .

with today's technology, an uber style app is very simple, your problem will be maintaining it and especially security and payments.
if you use a clone, you will have to change the design to avoid copyright issues.
I recommend you to look for flutter+google cloud platform, these two things are very simple and you can build an uber style app quite easy.

If you are starting on a low budget i would agree with most, fork and clone the uber clone, tweak whatever you want to tweak, and deploy.
That way you have a working demo for your idea whatever the idea might be, and that brings you 1 step closer to getting pre seed funding and then you can hire a dev or 2, cook up a better plan and afford marketing!
