Typosquatting...illegal or frowned upon?

Hello again BHW'ers,

I have just been looking up the definition of Typosquatting and wondered if this is a viable traffic source or if the practice is not worth the possible backlash?

I see it is a crime in the USA but I am more interested in Europe and the rest of the world.

Just wanted to know what everyones thoughts on it were?

in the past i had a great domain h3alth.com and it was a pretty good traffic source, mainly due to it being a typo but not only read well but the 3 is close to the e on most keyboards

I already have one and it gets a good amount of traffic and I'm not in the prison. So what do you think it is illegal.
I think it is your choice to choose the domain. It don't matter if it close to another thing.
