typed passwords be retrieved

So just say I use my computer as normal,login to email,browse internet etc. I then use a program which cleans all internet history typed urls etc. Can SOMEONE then who has access to the laptop retrieve passwords that have been typed in internet explorer/firefox etc and gain access to my emails?Many thanks

Anyone who has access to the computer have chance to hack your PC. As long as he/she using the right tools and/or method.

if u r using firefox u can use a script , jst google it

if ur using chrome just right click and then inspect element
there u can see the password in the console.

what software can be used to retrieve the passwords,also i will have used an internet privacy eraser also so dosen this ave any effect?

Ok, great question. I will refer you as A, and you have friend B that have access to your computer (limited or admin).

This is the case, since B is able to use your PC, he/she can plant key-logger that will logs all what you have type. BTW you type ******* isn't it? So it will logged.

In-case you not typing it, B can logs all outgoing traffic (such as specific from your favor browser).

Or you are not cleaning your PC very well, so B can find some logs file and read it using tools.

Firefox built-in internal password can be broken too, so does others. Please note, if you use the right tools.

How do you know B is ----> *MORON* since hackers wannabe are all over the place.

BTW there are programs that can read ******* , just Google it.

well what if there is no saved ******* in your internet. So I suppose you need to use privacy software o erase all tracks,also say there is no keylogger on the computer THEN can they get access to your passwords?

As long as you know absolutely that it's all deleted and saved nowhere, then no he can't recover it. But little bits of information get written and saved in little fragments all over the place. Just because you think you've deleted every instance of something doesn't mean you really have. You can do the best you can, but there is always some risk that someone who has access to your PC could recover something.

One solution would be to always use a virtual machine session when you're doing anything your worried about. When your done delete the VM, wipe the VM disk space and there won't be any records. Kind of like using a sledgehammer to drive in a finishing nail, but it would do the job.

Checklist:
1. No logs (saved ** or password)
2. No Key-logger
3. No virus etc

I think you okay, unless you are in LAN that someone can monitor your traffic from outside your PC. BTW, I'm not expert, just newbie.
