    Hey guys,

    Basically, I have website A set-up and I am creating website B, which will link to website A.

    These are both on the same hosting account, will this create issues when it comes to ranking and indexing?

    I've heard murmurs about it doing so in the past, but have never actually seen any case studies myself, so I'm wondering whether;

    a) It will decrease the potential of linking website B to website A
    b) It will have a negative effect somehow on both websites

    Any ideas would be very much appreciated :).

    i doubt it.

    i have 10 sites that running on the same host (same ip for that matters).
    and there is no direct links between - i mean, if A links to B - B wont link back to A.
    and its working great!

    i think the rumors around this issue is far from reality, and my argument is that -
    imagine that a huge company hosting on the same server that you are hosting.
    you manage to create between their site and your site a link.
    would G wont count it for the reason you are using the same host? i doubt it.
