i dont think it really matters how many blogs you have. its all about the traffic you get that puts a load on their servers. You could have 300 blogs with hardly any traffic and theyd leave you alone. But if you had like 5 blogs and millions of visitors a month they would probably kick you or tell you to upgrade because it would put a toll on their servers.

im not sure, because ive never been in that situation myself. But if youre really worried you might as well spring for a vps or dedicated server.

I think they would warn you first, they would probably suspend your site then only reactivate it when you adjust the load on their servers.

Just pay attention to your site's traffic and if it seems they're loading slowly then it's means they're using a lot of power so that's a good sign that you should probably upgrade your hosting

Now baby plan suits you best stick with that. If you host more than 100 blogs and your traffic is extremely high go for business plan or use other hosting company same as your baby plan.

Yes using baby plan on hostgator you can host N number of domains. To stay under the radar 100 domains is good to go.

If you register for a hostgator account you should have a domain eg) xyz.com and that domain will be your master domain. If you want to add more domains in your account eg) abc.com, qwe.com you should add that domain as a addon domain. You can add N number of addon domain. A sub domain means a.xyz.com, b.xyz.com and a.abc.com, b.abc.com, xxx.qwe.com and you can register N number of sub domains using a single domain.

lol $15 for a .com domain??????????
Its quit costly my dear friend.
    ok here it is.

You should pay for main and adon domains. And you can create N number of sub domains with free of cost. If you have further doubts contact me through messenger.

Never used hostgator but If your a newbie then start with one auto blog. Don't worry about scaling or if they can handle massive traffic until you need to later. It will be a good problem to have ;)

You need to focus on one to find what works before you can build many! GL

I hope I reach the point where I have enough traffic to be a problem! Thanks for the info on subdomains - I was wondering about that.

You can put as many domains and blogs as you want under your hostgator plan - for free. You'll just have to pay $10 per domain name to godaddy or namecheap or whoever you buy domains from.

But once you have the domain name, you can put as many as you want under the same plan at no extra charge.

If you want to save money, you can try to get a general domain name that you can expand on (create subdomains) for different autoblogs.

For instance, off the top of my head: deepthoughtson.c*m

    Then create subdirectories:

    deepthoughtson.fitness.c*m
    deepthoughtson.sex.c*m
    deepthoughtson.losingweight.c*m

    etc.

If you use shez method to build twitter followers, just don't get to aggressive. When you are starting, you will be driving all of your account from Twitter in that method. If you add too many followers too fast, then twitter will suspend that account and you're traffic will drop to nothing. If this happens when you first start, you won't have any organic traffic yet.

Just go slow and steady and realize that it's a long race. Traffic and followers will build up over time.

BTW if you plan on getting a lot of domains, goda*dy has a bulk club that will reduce price to less than $8 per domain. Cost of club is 80+ for one year, or 60+ for multiple years. Buying 50 domains pays for it, over 50 means savings.
