    Hi all,

We own a company, for the sakes of it we will call it Company Learning Help ltd. Sometimes we shorten it to CompanyLH ltd.
When I search for "CompanyLH ltd" we get the intended title in the results:

"Apprenticeships - Learning Help in COUNTY - CompanyLH"

if I search for the full business name, we get

    "Company Learning Help ltd".

Both of which lead to the homepage, how does google crawl this? Thanks

Google does rewrite page titles for branded searches very often. When it's obvious that some user is actually looking for your business even if he is querying a slightly different brand name, they will rewrite your title to avoid the user going to a different result, specially when you use that different brand term in your website or if your business has got some online citations using the term.

Is there any way to change this? Would be useful to keep the location in the title

It's not easy to avoid title rewriting. If you want your business location to appear in the search results you can try adding it to your meta description and to the first paragraph of your homepage. Sometimes Google discards the meta description and picks the first lines of your home body, so having it in both places will increase the possibilites to have it shown in the SERP.
