Hi guys,

So I've been stuck with the following two questions for a while and I have yet to find a proper answer that fits my needs.

1. I have a website selling digital goods and I have yet to add internal linking. I have two pages with lists of 'products' on them (paginated) and about 400 product cards. On each product card, do I make an internal link back to the two main pages or do I link it to the homepage (homepage = 1 of the two mains)

2. Does buying traffic for a lower bounce rate help in SERP or not? if not, what is it for?

Thanks in advance,

Wilcoo

Any experience regarding the internal linking?
From every page, give one link to random product & one to homepage :)
Internal linking is very good :) its nice to give links to random products :)

I had tested it on few pages and I felt it was reliable otherwise people wouldn’t pay for it ps it’s available for free out here

Alright cheers, I've seen the thread with the free one earlier.

but, what if the product gets deleted and the link is still there? Doesn't do any harm?

Not really, especially since the traffic will most likely come from bots and google is very good at detecting them. Cheap traffic is in most cases useless.

Buying traffic can be helpful only if the quality of the traffic is good.

1. You internally-link to pages to increase their ranking/seo power. For example, external backlinks come to Page A and Page A internally links to Page B to pass some of the juice on to Page B.

It is also used to pass traffic. Page A gets a lot of traffic and promotes Page B then links to it to send people there. Often you will link from info pages to money pages.

There are other ways to internly link to maintain a silo structure, etc.

But you don't want to internally link away from money pages to other random pages or the home page. Internal linking should flow toward your money pages.

2. Bounce rate applies to traffic that originates from a Google search. When a user selects a link in the SERPs then bounces back to the SERPs Google sees that as the search result not satisfying the users qyery.

Bought traffic doesn't affect this. Usually bought traffic it used to reduce the CTR rate on google AdSense so G doesn't get suspicious about a high conversion rate. Bought traffic is often bot traffic.

If someone comes from a random site that links to you or comes directly from a shared link and then quickly leaves, it does not count as a "bounce".

Bounce rate it determined by search traffic originating from Google then bouncing back. Google uses it to try and improve the results it serves up to search queries.

That is different than paid targeted traffic from ads that is intended to be real people who click on your ad, like what you are selling and convert.
