Two methods to get traffic for free!

Method 1

1. Check your WP sites to see if blackhatters have compromised them with a bunch of pages that redirect to pharma sites.
2. Edit the meta redirects to point to your own money sites!

Method 2

1. Find the other files in your compromised sites that were put there by the blackhatters to remotely change the content of the redirect pages.
2. Reverse engineer their method of access.
3. Use google to find the hundreds of sites that have been compromised by the same method.
4. Change the redirects on those other sites to point to your own money sites!

I plan to experiment with this very thing when I get the time. There was a list of the most frequent psswords posted here yesterday. It would indeed be interesting to set up websites just waiting to be hacked.

Yeah that'd be a good way, was thinking about it myself. I just happened to find out a couple of my blogs were compromised when I was looking through my stats. Got a bit annoyed but then decided to turn it around into my favour instead

How can you check to see if your site has been compromised? This is scary lol

Did not think about a method like this. Thanks for sharing. But, more people doing this just ruins the chances of newbies getting their way with IM.

well it's a bit of a tongue in cheek post LongBanana... that's why it's in the Lounge rather than another section. It's just a story of how you can leverage something that was a bad thing and turn it into a good thing for you. I'm sure most people would delete the files, secure their server, and get on with their day. I'm saying, edit them instead and use them to your own advantage.

Not sure what you mean by newbies having a tough time if more people start doing this, but you're welcome, happy to share
