Two interesting articles on pinterest botting that you guys should read

Well, I think they're old and the Pinterest is much harder to spam today, expecially since they started banning domains, not only accounts. But of course there's still money to be made bia Pinterest.

From what I understand, Pinterest doesn't care about schedulers since there are paid services out there for that function. Some might even be using their API. Also, though it's been awhile since I checked, you can look at the upper right dropdown "News" tab for what people are getting away with in terms of number of pins and follows per day. I remember seeing counts in the thousands for both. So bot away.

The one clear thing for us in the recipe niche is the manual reporting by other pinners in a groupboard. They get really snippy. Almost anything you do that rubs them wrong can get you flagged for spam. The obvious ones include auto-redirect and URLs that don't match the image. Scraping is kinda iffy since I see some good ones get away with it everyday. The really bad ones, like those slapped on a blogger blog, get blocked within days. I don't know how it is for other categories.

Then there's the smart feed algo. Rolled out about a year ago, users no longer just see pins from people they follow in their home feeds. Now, there are "promoted pins" and "picked for you" in the mix. The end result is a drop in many of our traffic. Many of us are still dealing with it. Mine is via groupboards, and I'm taking extra care not to spam them.

Even though they are old, they are still good reads. Not sure they work so much anymore.

This kind of spamming gets harder all the time. Not sure these outdated materials will help that much on pinterest, but I know there's plenty of money to be made there.

I'd imagine they are still relevant if you are simply posting stock photos of amazon products

Become an amazon affiliate, link photos to products, and wa-lah. Looks really easy. Is it?

I mean all this trouble, all for Pinterest. Yeah, there's still money on Pinterest but honestly is it worth it? Is it worth that much? Or does this depend on the niche you're working on.

These are outdated. I would suggest finding new ways to work on Pinterest.

Depends on your perspective. My opinion? Well worth it

Interestingly enough I found these articles after a couple friends were saying that this is how they bank.
