Hello.
We have two problems that we cannot solve.
There is an entertaining news site.
It is located on a subdomain, a redirect is affixed to the main domain (as it happened historically, there is no sense in this).
This site has a problem with indexing the sitemap - there are no errors in the Search Console, however, the number of URLs that the console displays is much less than what is actually on the sitemap.
The site was also added to Google News, however, new articles were indexed for about a week, after which they ceased to appear in Google News, even if you search for a specific site through the "site:" operator. If we look at this document:

they write that this situation is a result of a technical error, and not bad content.
Maybe someone had a similar experience and somehow managed to solve the problem? I would really appreciate any help.
