spain-germany & portugal-france

who is your favorite?

imo germany goes through as they have the home advantage and more experienced squad that's better defensively

france goes through in the second game simply for the value of the squad they have and because portugal has been playing like shit lately (not that france are playing any better but they still go through cause of the names and experience)

Spain wins 1-0 trhough penalty. France willl smash's portugal, or portugal wins in a close game.
 
I believe Spain will win but I am not sure. My german business partners does not seem to have high faith in Germany for tonights game...

I agree they are not close to the 2014 levels and that Spain has been the best team of the tournament so far but I just don't feel that the Spain's front 3 is experienced enough to win this type of game. Yamal and Williams are great but lack exp. in those big international games and that is imo very important for this type of game. Morata is not a world class CF. Germany has 2 wc winners in their starting 11, a few more on the bench and have a better defense on paper...

In these games anything can happen as the squads are so close in terms of team value, both topped their groups, Germany scored most goals (10) and spain second most (8)...

I just hope for a lot of attacking football on both sides and loads of goals.

If you asked me in 2013-2015 I would have given you a nice analysis of it but I have not watched football since then so I couldnt say :p

I follow a few interesting teams here and there (mostly in CL) but don't watch a lot either these days. better footy back then if you ask me, it's kind of bland today. lots of good, technical players today but all the teams kind of try to do the same thing.
