Hey guys.

I want to start two blogs, each in different language but content will be same (blog1 will have content translated from blog2).
Ofc I want to gain some rankings for each blog.
It would be better to use same domain for both blogs?
Or each blog on different domain?

Thanks :)

If you're targeting different GEOs for each language/blogs, you'll have some advantage using different ccTLDs for each blog,
If each language is targeting multiple countries, you can stick for the same domain and use a language subfolder for that, it should work just fine,

You should use hreflang meta tag for both cases, for a safer SEO use,
You can use WPML for that, it's not that hard to implement,

Adding links to the translated post(s) can help passing some of the link juice as well,
Language switcher is an easy method to make that work or/and contextual links

Not advisable but it works with ranking certain pages/urls.

Using a different TLD will generally help you in the SEO department, but at the end of the day it isn't that important. You can easily do it and get good results using the same domain.
