Just saw today that twitterfeed and bitly are now one.
I've noticed for a while now that using twitterfeed is a sure way to get accounts banned and it's widely known that bitly hangs out of twitter back pocket so that's a spam door closing.

But not alls lost.

Get yourself your an adfly clone script, create your ads in the intersitual mode and then create a dlv.it account and set it up to use your own url shortener.

I've done this a lot with cpc advertisers which works great and you are out of the twitter loop and your not using a recognised shorter, I'd also suggest to create a backup url shortener in case your first one gets a ban.

i have been noticing my accounts getting banned after only 15 posts or less because i am using bitly to shorten my links. Time to try a new shortener. thanks for the confirmation

I'm using bit.ly to shorten the urls I post on twitter and don't have any problems. One of my accounts has over 1000 tweets so I don't think that's the reason your accounts get banned.

How long did it take you to send those 1000 messages. In the grand scale of thing 1000 messages from one account isn't very much. If you account is still live, check your bit.ly links regularly as Bit.ly often shows a warning page instead of the taking people straight through to your desired page. Keep an eye on it.
