It’s easy - just because it’s adult doesn’t mean you won’t get verified.
For example Sara Jay is verified blue star and so is Vicky Vette. Both are porn stars.
If you correctly follow their new procedures, it’s very smooth process.

I don’t know if you’ve been following APAG Union on Twitter but they’ve been very informational on this topic.I wish if it was that easy.
I’m very confident with Twitter’s last post on verification. It’s even rolling out a payment platform to view posters tweets. Looks like a win for adult in my opinion.
Because you need valid online articles to get verified. Which is why you pay for it.

Have a fiverr gig for that, max $50 for good number of articles.

I've seen some accounts (fake footballer accounts) being verified via this method:
1. Make sure the footballer isn't on Twitter and so doesn't already have an account
2. Change the profile picture and make it look as legit as possible.
3. Make sure it has a few thousand followers
4. Apply.
The account apparently needs to be older than 6 months old.
I've seen a couple of footballer accounts on Twitter today with the blue tick, and it's clearly not them.
Whether name/username, can then be changed, not sure as it might raise a manual check.
