My latest long term twitter account was phone verified but with a call, not an SMS.

Which means if you use a sim which can only receive texts or an online PVA service you'll be stuck.

Also, I've noticed recently they see through proxies (data center) so mobile / residential is most likely the best for long term accounts

4g proxies are the best Twitter, but they are expensive.

Thats why you need to rent simcards for long term use. And also even if you use the best of the best quality of proxies, eventually you will be asked for re-verification after some time.
