As per my understanding we can not use trademarks in our main domain name (some companies allow their trademark in sub-domains).
Twitterfeed is a very different service and it's around for quite some time now maybe Twitter allowed them to run that site.
We're not lawyers so yes, this question should be asked from lawyer.

I don't think that's quite right. I would say if you are in anyway trying to benefit from their name/brand then you can't do it.
I'd suggest getting advice from lawyer to clarify.
But as someone pointed out - twitterfeed exist quite happily.
