Twitter turns me crazy - need advise

Hi all

I sent tweets with an URL for a while, then twitter blocked this URL lets say it is hxxp://www.name.com/ . Now tweet another URL like hxxp://www.othername.com/exten/ which redirects to the old URL. But twitter does not let me tweet the redirected URL but only the URL without redirect. Is there any workaround?

Use a url shortener service and see if it can bypass the restriction you are facing.

Cloaking - do I do that with a wp plugin? Can anyone tell me how to do that when I have the URL in the tweet.

cloaking means to redirect twitter bots to another link than real people, not a simple redirect. there are some paid services out there. check cloacking subforum.

Shorterners would not cut it in many cases, it would redirect both your visitors and BOTS and you don't want that. Fast and good Cloaking not easy nor cheap. Use search button to find cloaking services.
