Twitter trending

Hey, been looking but can't find anything, wanted to know if there was a way to find most talked about /used key word on twitter?

There are a variety of ways that you could go about doing this. You can use the built in trending widget that is displayed by default in the left column of a Twitter account. You could also use different services for this. For example Trendistic or Hashtags.org.

That's a very useful link from ContentAuthority. I haven't found trends to be a terribly worthwhile avenue, but a person with more intelligence than me might have success.
