twitter traffic

I can get a good amount of optins to my autoresponder but the tough thing is getting people from twitter to see my message directing them where to go.

tweetlater id horrible for direct messaging alot of followers.

Does anyone have any other programs for sending mass DM's or any other methods I can try?
