Twitter Traffic vs. Reddit Traffic?

If You Had to choose only ONE Platform for Traffic Generation Which One Would You Choose and Why?

If you had to choose only ONE platform to focus on in order to generate traffic to your website, which one would you choose and why?

hard to decide. , I see others tweets is easily get retweet and will go viral fast.
Reddit is have to get many upvotes in order to go top etc.

Twitter traffic convert well compare to the reddit. Specially for adult niche.
 
It depends on your niches. Some niches convert better with Twitter some with Reddit. However, It will be more challenging to promote your offers on Reddit than Twitter because usually, it moderated heavily.
 
You have accepted that it includes a lot of factors. So I will put all those factors in your decision.

My option is REDDIT
why because
Twitter will show the posting from the person that they are following. But in Reddit, if you are interested in those categories means your post will be listed out there.
Twitter will be helpful for fully developed business or site promotions, but in other cases, Reddit will be helpful for promoting your site in the beginning stage itself.
I will choose twitter only for the entertaining and fun related niche. All other informative niches Reddit is the best to-go option.
 
Twitter for Adult niche. Reddit for anything else
 
Reddit has higher quality traffic than Twitter, but traffic from Reddit is harder to obtain than from Twitter, because Reddit is very moderated.

If I had to decide if I could ever use Twitter or Reddit, I'd go for Twitter, because Reddit is too moderated for me to work with.

If I had to decide if I could have the same volume of traffic from Twitter or Reddit, I'd go for Reddit.

I was under the impression twitter traffic does not convert well at all since people on the platform are not in a buying mode.
 
Both have crappy conversions.... but as stated above, you don't have mods and downvoters to get in your way on twitter.
 
Twitter traffic is one of the worst in term of conversion .. Been running a direct linking to CPA offer for 6 months, impression = yes conversion = none .. Did the same with Instagram conversion = yes but it's kinda hard now with Instagram
 
The users on both platforms bounce like crazy -- well over 90 percent -- but Reddit is even worse. Reddit users are very averse to being marketed to, so you likely won't make many sales or get many ad clicks. Plus, at least on Twitter you can build your own following and community. On Reddit that's not so straightforward.
 
Really depends on your niche.. I've heard of a lot of people having success on Twitter but I've only gotten decent traffic from Reddit. One advantage of Reddit is that you don't need to build a massive following.. just build an account for a month or two and participate in normal conversations before posting your links.

Or if you're me and you use Reddit not just for promoting your stuff, you won't even have to worry about being mistaken for a spammer when maybe only 1% of what you post is links to your own stuff.

Hey, I try both and I was successful in DM spam. But all links which I used was blocked after some time.
 
I prefer reddit. I can't get any traffic from twitter. I tried many times last 2 years. My posts don't show under hashtags i add to them. Even when there is near zero competition under specific hashtag i can't find my post in recent or top tweets.

I'd definitely go with Twitter because it is mush more popular and has more daily active users.
