Twitter Tools Update Problems

I just updated my Twitter Tools plugin for Wordpress and found that apparently Twitter now requires an API for the plugin to work. I went and set up the API on Twitter but I'm getting an error when I try to test it.

Anyone else experiencing this problem?

It's updating fine, but do we need a seperate app for each website or can we use the same app on all of them?

It looks like it was a conflict with a setting on my hosting account. I guess they got enough tickets over it and it started working yesterday evening.

I built separate API's for each twitter account. It was a pain in the ass and I'm glad I'm only at 12 sites. It won't be as bad moving forward. It seemed safer to create individual API's instead of just using one.

Any clue what it was in the hosting? I'm not having any luck getting twitter tools to tweet posts.
