can i limit twitter tools to posting like 5-10 tweets a day?

i post more than that, but only want to tweet so many. followers get pissed when you tweet bomb them.

Didn't quite get what you were asking but sure there should be an option to limit tweets. If there isn't, there's a similar script available here in BHW.

Why even have a tool? Just use socialoomph or something of that nature if that's all you want to do.

Hey, I have some problems with twitter tools.... as I noticed twitter changed something on september 1st which made twitter tools not post anymore.... so I updated the plugin and did every step they said (register an app at twitter dev website) and provided the 4 keys. Then when I check it said it was succes that my wordpress is connected with twitter but when I ddid a post to test it out... my tweet didn't appear.. not even after 2 days.

Anyone know what might be wrong?

^ Same happened here, my last posts on all my twitter accounts is September 1st. I havent tried updating it yet. I think twitter is causing troubles with other tools too like onlywire.

my posts work fine, when i use caffinated content to get them, the only problem is it tweets them when added and tweets them when they are actually published.

also i was about to post this in a new thread but on my caffinated content, when it schedules posts, some dont post and it says missed schedule.

then when you try to change the status of them to publsihed from scheduled it gives this error

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 303378 bytes) in /home7/consoles/public_html/blog/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1007

any ideas?

Hi Guys,

I used TwitterTools back in the day and it had an option for each post whether you want to post it to Twitter or not? (I would assume it still exists).

For my use though, I went to using Google to do it for me. I setup their feedburner and have it post to Twitter my posts.

Works like a charm and Feedburner also has some great tools (email subscribing for one) and keeps track of everything stats wise.

Seems all wp that's been posting to twitter have all paused to sep 1 when the new api was implemented. Seems all wp to twitter wont work either and twitter feed has this % in between

Check out Twtzilla dot com. Allows you to upload tweets and schedule them. Also to get keyword targeted followers. Is up to date with new Twitter changes....

we are talking about twitter tools, we do not need to schdeule out tweets, we need to create a new tweet (automated tweet ofcourse) every time have a new post on our blogs (I do this mainly for the quick backlink and super fast tweet indexing)........ but it ain't working anymore.
