I just started using twitter and building slowly I had about 500 followers and 1200 following so as to not get caught using hummingbird. however, today i find out my account was suspended. has anyone here had any luck getting their account unsuspended? I'm not selling any affiliate stuff and the username I want to keep because it's my website name so I can't just start another account. I need this account!

All my posts have been about site updates etc. nothing spammy. I guess I got in trouble with the mass following and mass unfollowing.

I have never heard of this before - maybe a new algorithm in place?

200+ follows in a 24hr period (if your under 2000 followers) makes you subject to suspension. I've had a couple of my Whitehat customers caught in this. They emailed, were polite, and it was lifted after two weeks.

Also, if your following a number of people that were really bots or a network, and they get caught, sometimes you';ll get swept up in it.

email them, don't expect miracles, be polite. If your doing as you say then it'll get lifted after a week or so with no problems.
