Twitter Suspended

Built up a twitter account to 5k followers and was following about 3k....I was following about 200 people a day...I followed 500 one day and they suspended my account. I put in the request to get it back about 10 days ago...received the email that you need to reply to in order to make the ticket "live" and still have not heard back.

Anyone ever experience this? If so, how long until they reinstated your account?

They normally reply within 2 days but there system is not robust.

Sometimes they unban the account but then reban it.

You can try sending your request again.

BTW, your account shouldn't have been banned for following 500 after you had grown it to 5000.
Are you sure, there is no other problem like posting link to some banned domain in your tweets or updating a banned domain in your profile.

May be the proxy you are using is marked as spam.

I had mine suspended, I emailed them and they said my account wasn't suspended when it was...Ain't that a bitch.

that's bad but keep appeal till they unsuspend it

Yup, just keep irritating them via as many channels as possible, youtube, twitter, facebook, etc, until they reinstate you.
