Just got suspended, most likely for aggressive following.

Any of you guys had a suspended account reinstated?

What did you say to them?

Say your sorry and you will never do it again. Is it even worth trying, how many followers did you have on that account?

How many people did you follow daily before you got suspended? I'm also gathering followers on ~100 accounts right now so I'm just asking for advice about what not to do :)
Thanks.

just ask them to unsuspended the account - tell them you suspect you were following too many people. they will reply and ask you to confirm that you will read the rules and not mistreat your account again - reply to the email and tell them you concur.

They will reinstate your account, I think its pretty much a given that they always reinstate on the first instance - if you do it again, thats a different story.

Orbit I think its safe to follow 200 people per day (thats really safe) more risky is 300-400 per day.
It also depends (i think) on the age of the account and the amount of activity on the account (ie tweets etc) if you make it look like a genuine account you can get away with more aggressive behavior.

I have been following and unfollowed 600 people per day and NOT got suspended on some accounts, and I have been following unfollowed as little as 100-200 per day and got suspended.

We use a limit of 100-200 follows a day. The number is calculated randomly. We never had any problems with suspended accounts.

I think they will release your account again, though.

kind regards,
SICK

Thanks for your replies, I have been following 30-50 people daily so I'm gonna crank it up a bit, see what happens :)

Thanks.

I was only following people up to 190 per day, however, I was working on my site all night, and I think I set tweet adder to manually follow, with 10-15 second delay between.

I think the lack of time between has caught me. also, my follow/followers ratio is like 10:1 Had about 1k/100

I sent:

Hello Twitter,
My account is suspended, I think I have been following too many people, I'm REALLY sorry - I'm new to this, is there any way you would PLEASE unsuspend me? - I promise I won't mess up again, and I'd really appreciate it.
Cheers

Gonna sign up for another 10 accounts today and try and use tweetadder better. Annoyed though, because that account was a direct match of my url, and was ranked quite high for my keywords.

Any tips on using autofolow software without getting banned?

Oh and also, use proxies if you run more than 5 accounts!! I was running about 20 accounts, and read on here (someone posted) that you dont need proxies - so I thought great, everything can run quicker, took all the proxies off, and

BAM

Three accounts got suspended straight away! And they belonged to clients. :(

I had an account get reinstated. I messed up with the Wait and Reply module of Tweet Attacks and dumped a lot of tweets at once. I emailed them and about a week it was reinstated.

I also once had a whitehat account I built for my dad's business get banned for reasons I still haven't figured out once. I told them I was just a small business owner trying to get the word out about my service and it got reinstated quickly.

When I first started with Twitter, I lost a couple accounts due to aggressive following before I bought TweetAttacks Pro and could set my follow limits. I've used 190-199 per day for over a year now and haven't had any problem with those accounts due to aggressive following.

I also use proxies, which I change up from time to time, but at the moment I've got 3 to 4 accounts per proxy.

Nice info, what proxies do you use if you dont mind my asking? I use the free lists that get downloaded in tweetadder, but they are always slow. I have tried several times to buy proxies, but they never seem to work with twitter...

I use proxies from yourprivateproxies. I use them for BMD, SB, and Twitter. I did get a batch that didn't work with Twitter and they replaced them the same day without any difficulty, but that's the only time over the last year that I had any problem with their proxies and Twitter.

I tried 3 providers and had proxies replaced several times and gave up in the end. Might try yourprivateproxies - thanks.

Yeah, me to. my account banned from last month and until now I can't bring it back... I follow 1000 people a day. lol.
Now I just follow 40 people a day

Usually begging works :) I had a few accounts reinstated after aggressive following :)
Just say you're sorry, you are new to this and don't know how to properly do it and so on...

Mail them and assure them you won't do this again. If you have an old account above a year or more they will reopen it in few days.

I have had about 5 accounts banned, they always send the same message default. I recently got a new ac banned - I had only followed 500 ppl over about 2 weeks ;( anyway, I got it back up within about 4 days In total so not bad.

-just read there emails because you have to reply to their initial mail - and from your registered email address, otherwise they just ignore the request.
