Twitter suspended for multiple accounts

One of my accounts got suspended couple of days ago and here is an email from Twitter:

"Hi,
The following behaviors are violations of the Twitter Rules:
? Creating serial and/or multiple accounts with overlapping use cases
? Cross-posting Tweets or links across accounts
? Aggressive following, particularly through automated means
As such, these accounts will remain suspended. "

I am running 60+ accounts all with the same approach and only one got "will remain suspended"

Account is almost 2 years old with good quality tweets, many retweets and real, natural followers - 2.5k. Tweets are all unique on each accounts (mix of quotes and Amazon links) so I don't know how it could be considered cross-posting.
Aggressive following is completely out of questions - account only follows back.
Serial and/or multiple accounts - account has private proxy.

Tweets are posted with Tweet Adder 4, followback/unfollow with Tweet Demon.

So my questions are:
- How Twitter can detect multiple accounts if you use private proxies and out of 67 only one account is detected?
- What could be the cause of such a suspension?
- How can I prevent same thing happening to other accounts?
- Should I email Twitter and say what to unsuspend account or just forget it?

Any advice will be appreciated.

and try to understand that they are lightyears above your quotes+amazon links system (that is clear, obvious spam footprint since 2008, btw). Not to mention that they are tracking every click, cookie, link, ip address, and capable to scrutinize & cross reference text between X accounts up to level of letter if necessary.

So affiliate marketing on Twitter is illegal, spam? And private proxies are usless?

Is not ilegal, but is not wanted or desired, specially if is mixed with pointless link posting about coffee machines and golf clubs or whatever. IF you have a big group of real followers, who are genuine attracted to your tweets and you really have something to say that is relevant and important to their problem, situation or whatever is reason to follow you - then you may slip a product or two, maybe every 10th or 20th tweet to offer something of real value to them, high quality, or show some special price or whatever. That is not spam, that can be understood like recommendation. All other stuff you do - do from accounts you don't care. Because sooner or later they will be burned.

And yes, proxies are useless. Simply header checking can find them, not to mention enormous public proxy databases updated daily and blacklisted for good. Commercial VPN services, too. What you think, how much minutes they need to find ip ranges of vpn servers and put them on special status, reduce link posting from those ranges or blacklist them?

We are talking about good quality account in Fitness niche. All product links and quotes are also relevant to niche. Followers are all real and targeted, besides ALL followers followed account first and then account followed them back. If followers would not like our content they could just unfollow, but it's not the case. So I don't think it could be considered as spammy account.

Again as indicated by Twitter as a main reason - multiple accounts and cross-posting. I don't get it - all tweets are unique, it's not posted on any other accounts. And if multiple accounts is the reason why only one account got suspended?

Various reasons.

- Maybe your tweets triggered some of filters that are made for spammers
- maybe your links are posted in spam tweets by other people or bots so you fall in same category in their antispam system
- maybe your followers are not so happy with links like you think and they are reporting you
- maybe you have competitor that is flagging you for spam or reporting you from various fake accounts

The fast that your other accounts are not disabled yet doesn't mean that they will not be flagged. You say that you use proxies. Well, by their definition, you are hitting a big number on spammer score. And they can corelate the way how you write tweets, from which computer, they can see your cookies related to each account and compare them, they can see all browser plugins and addons that you use, screen resolution, screen size, ... I can continue but you've got a point. They can compare all that data and find similarities, footprints, and connect them into one nice picture.

Anyway, yes, contact them and ask for reactivating account, you will succeeded when they see that live person is behind account. For 2 days you will get it back.

Suspension is 99.9999% of the time a matter of running afoul of some algorithm. There's no human actually analyzing your account, as TZ2011 says - appeal the suspension and you'll get your account back. It's all part of the dance.

@egpaisley Twitter replied to my ticket "account will remain suspended" after manual check I guess.

@coolcaty I am not sure about any reporting or competition but I doubt it.

After some Googling I found two possible cases. First - many ppl had the same story with just single account which means they were suspended by mistake.

Second one, the most likely cause, I had spun tweets with links to Amazon & Nextag on 3 accounts. Even though tweets & links were never repeated it's easy to find the connection between accounts.

So I'll remove these tweets/links from other accounts and may be will submit ticket again. At the same time it may be better not to trigger manual checking not to risk other accounts.

Send them email back and say that you will fix the problem but you don't know what is the problem, if they would be so kind to say what to change it would be fixed in shortest time. Ask again, let them know that it is very important account for you.
