Twitter - Staying Under the Radar

use tweetattacks wait and reply with dead links. your accounts will last much longer

I'm doing the same thing as you and I use Tweet Adder on a VPS... this basically means that Tweet Adder is available to run 24/7 (although you can set a start and end time each day so it looks more natural e.g 7am - 11pm).

I check in on it every day or 2 to change the public proxies, but no big deal unless you have 100s of accounts.

I've calmed my following & unfollowing down a bit. I now wait 7 days before unfollowing and I limit the following to around 200 per day. Almost 24,000 followers on one of my account, which gets about 100 new followers a day.

Mate do you have IM address? i would really appreciate your help in this. This is great news.

Have you have had any account banned?

To be honest, I don't have time to do IM as always too much on.

Yes, I had an account banned last week, but it was successfully reinstated. It was an automatic ban from Twitter as I was unfollowing too quickly according to them.

If you think about it, once you've been following the same amount for 7 days, it doesn't matter if you unfollow 50 after 2 days or after 7 days. It just means you're following people for a longer period of time that's all.

I think the best method is following slow, but using more accounts.

I am interested to know how you used the VPS with Tweet Attacks?

Do i have to use the VPS to be safer? What if i am using an unused desktop which is always on?

I see you are using a public proxies? Aren't they dangerous due to those proxies might probably be abused earlier?

I don't use Tweet Attacks as I think Tweet Adder is better.

I don't believe Twitter ban accounts due to the IP being used. Maybe the IP with which the account was originally set up, but not when it's actually being used.

I've switched public proxies 100s of times to new ones and not had a problem. It makes sense really - otherwise people's accounts would be being banned just because they happen to get an IP which was used by another ISP user on an earlier day or someone abused Twitter at a local public library etc.

Google 'VPS' - it's basically connecting to another computer which you can log on and off with the software running even though you're logged off and your PC is shut down.

I use TweetAttacks, set it to follow/unfollow 100-200 people every 3-5 hours. It's been running that way for months with no problem. I have had accounts suspended before, better to be safe than sorry.

I tend to go day 1 - 50, day 2 - 100, day 3+ - 200 follows/unfollows per day.

I set Tweet Adder to run 200 follow, unfollow with 24 hour wait to check for reciprocal.

This method (with other scripts as well) has worked for me in building 1300+ accounts with 1mil+ connects.

Zero accounts deleted since day 1.

are you using any proxies or not?

Using Tweetadder:

I've had 125 accounts on 1 IP .. For over 3 months...following 500/day and unfollowing (non reciprocals every 3 days) 300-day. They all send 30-40 general tweets a day a day aswell.

I was mixing in some CPA offers with the general tweets for a month or so.. Made a good $200.. Then my network got complaints.. So i pulled all the links..I need to set some time aside to mess with it. They've all got 1000+ followers.

Monetization suggestions?

Any idea why all my accounts are fine under 1 ip? I see alot of threads talking about account bans but I'v3 not gotten 1 yet.. Maybe I have a golden IP?

;)

I personally don't think Twitter mind with them all on 1 IP. However, they have an hourly call limit that each IP can make, so I'd assume that surely a lot of your accounts weren't doing things every hour, as you'd have hit the limit.

Calls are only used when DM'img, or when requesting info from twitter.

Following/unfollowing doesn't use this function.

That's my understanding of it. I need to make some $ with this farm I've been raising though. Haha.

Twitter traffic sucks so bad though. I was getting 5-10k clicks/ day with the campaign I ran with my CPA network, and MAYBE $10/day. 1:400 conversion ratio wasn't the best, but hey-$10/day is $10/day.. Right?

I just know theres much more potential.

That's something I've been meaning to check into actually.. Just so busy nowadays. Not enough hours in the day.. I'll do my best to give it a try and report back with some results. :)

Any service that would post on the twitter automatically once an update has been made on the wordpress (like a post)?

I know of twitterfeed, but wonder if there are others.

I'm trying out Tweetattacks and wondering if the free version still works. When trying two new twit accounts, one account gets authenticated, but 0/49 tasks are completed (following a list of 50). The second account gets a 403 msg..."the server understood the request, but is refusing to fulfil it".

I'm not using proxies, but I can't imagine that a couple twitter accounts trying to follow 50 people is the issue. I do a lot of work with Twitter, but this is my first go around with this tool.

Any insight? Is TA still a functioning tool, or greener pastures elsewhere?

Thanks in advance.

If you're using WP. Do a search for the plugin "HL Twitter"

This automatically updates your Timeline every time you make a new blogpost.

Hope this helps :)

As of now, I'm now waiting 7 days before unfollowing.

I think Twitter has a spam filter which monitors how quickly you follow and then unfollow that same user. I suspect if you do over X amount of these within Y amount of time, it'll raise a flag.

So I'm now giving people a week to follow me back, otherwise they're unfollowed. In theory it shouldn't matter whether it's 1 day or 7 days for us, once the initial 7 days have elapsed.

hey, i recently started using tweet attacks and my new accounts are getting banned pretty quickly on the wait and reply module.

i'm pretty sure i'm doing everything right, using proxies, spacing replys, intermittent normal tweets, and the accounts have some followers.

any advice?
