Hi everyone,

So about a year ago I spammed the crap out of twitter, it was black friday so figures were over the top, after that I stopped.

But back then you were able to find a lot of spam, now I'm just looking through, for a term such as free iphone you can't find any spam, what happened? Did I miss something? Did twitter supercharge their spam filters?

Whats going on?

Thanks,
S

They hire the best engineers in the world and they put them purely to work on stopping spam.

Twitter knows that the downfall of their service is spam. If people see lots of spam, they get pissed off and leave. Twitter knows this which is why they throw all their ammo at stopping spam.

Are we talking Wait & Reply spam? if so, it's far from dead.

What you mean wait and reply? Wait like an hour after someone tweeted and then only @ them?

So whats next guy? Pinterest? Everyones gone over the top with protection, annoying!

Building an actual follower base and monetizing it is better imo anyways, plus you don't feel as dirty.

You should build up a large targeted audience of followers, and stay engaged with them, and build trust.

engaging, communicating and hard working is not really spam. besides they'll can ban your account at any time

im looking to join a twitter deck if anyone knows where i can find one dm me.

Holy crap. Three years into the archives to bring this thread back to life. Welcome to BHW. The search function is your friend.
