Twitter Spamming Help

I've just about got everything set up for my twitter spamming campigns, I just need to figure out how many messages to send, I understand the API limit is 150/per hour/per account, but I just did a test-run on a new account, non-confirmed email address, default settings (The type of account I'm using) and it didn't even read 75 tweets. I've got a short delay on how quickly the tweets are sent, there is around 5 seconds between each tweet, does anyone have a good number to set this at? The script I use will send the tweets even if the account is suspended, so I need to set it at a certain about of tweets before it stops.

Anyone give me a good number to test?

This is going to be pretty unrelated I'm afraid, but can I ask what you use to add friends to your twitter accounts? Also, I guess you could check out hellotxt.com, it has twitter mass-message. It's most definately the information you're looking for but it's something, I guess...

@Adeny, thanks for your reply, well the way I create accounts is basic, it simply creates the account, follows the top 20 users (That twitter suggests you follow), then it repeats its self, the accounts are purely used for spamming twitter, nothing else. I've got sending messages down, it's just the limits and trying to optimize the script to yeild the most amount of income, it works amazingly and I've had great results, but it eats up twitter accounts like coco pops, I've gone though a good 300 or so, that's purely from testing, lucky the test-results bought me engouth to infact make profit, but now I'm creating my own accounts, I should be saving even more, going to look into adding a decatchpa service into the script to 100% automation.

I suggest you check out Pyrogenic Media's website for free twitter software, great software, totally free, I've got their twitter application somewhere on my computer/laptop from my old twitter marketing days, if your still trying to make money on twitter with the old follow/promote method, good luck it's becoming increasly hard.

Is your bot showing up as 'posted from API' or 'posted from web' ?

Update status shouldnt affect API usage (Im pretty sure it doesnt count). API usage is weirdly only used for things like... getting a list of followers or... Just stupid stuff basically. If you need INFO from twitter, that counts as API usage.

Any sort of action (adding friends, removing friends, updating status), has its own limits. But they are generally not widely known.

Such as friend adding. The limit should in theory be 1k. But ive been blocked far before that. And even been blocked for weeks at a time. Twitter's API makes its own rules when it wants to.

Ontop of that, if you coded the script yourself. You should be able to see the response from twitter, and see if your API limited (You can also do an API limit check through the API itself (lol), but these numbers are usually grossly overstated or completely wrong).

Just out of curiosity, how many frends can you add on twitter per day?!

there is no point twitter is just going to delete them they are really cracking down and becoming more like youtube with their bans good luck .

Sorry for bumping this up, but for anyone using looking a good number, go with a low number and a high amount of accounts if you want your tweets to stick, so to post 2,000 tweets, have 100 accounts and post 20 tweets per account. I'd also suggest some IP protection, it is becoming a lot harder to spam Twitter.
