I was just wondering if anyone has had success in growing their accounts by doing shouts with other accounts in the same niche? I've heard it works well on instagram but now sure about twitter. Eg If I retweeted someone else's tweets and they done the same for me, is this an effective way to grow?

If anyone has had experience please lemme know as I'm curious!

Well, other people do this on their own, retweet your tweets, especially if they are good and you have a good follower base. That doesn't necessarily mean that you will get a lot of followers like in Instagram the platforms a quite different in this case and I doubt you'll have the same results, you might get a few followers back but definitely not like on Insta.
 
That is exactly how people grow their twitters. I gain 1000's daily by rt's
 
How big is your account and what niche? I may want to work with you.
PS. Yes, it works very well.
 
My niche is quotes and I have 230k... I just bought it after I did some checks. The previous user had left it a little inactive for a while so I'm just bringing it back to life but it's a good account! I think I need RT's off big accounts, similar to my size.
 
Can we agree that a 100k quote account with average engagement would be worth $1k? Is there a market for accounts?

How much would be aged account with 1k followers to buy?
