Can you pm me the link to the twitter handle you say posts 500 posts a day? That's an insane number and I would think that's not possible.
Some observations
I follow one user closely studying his account. Looks like he has about 5 accounts. His main account has 440k users and on that, he follows 340k. Has 125k tweets. I noticed several things.
1. Never posts to his own wall more than 50 posts a day, but his average seems to be closer to 20-30 a day.
2. Uses same copy (follow everyone who likes this tweet; or similar) over and over and rotates between about three different sets of copy. Only thing he changes is a single emoji on the end of the copy, each time he posts. Once in a while, he'll sneakily add to the bottom of the post a link to some other real account he wants people to follow and I've noticed those accounts have been steadily increasing.
3. Amount of people he follows has been going down. When I first started following him, when he had around 415k, his follower count was much closer to that number, around 410k. He's been steadily unfollowing people every day and now has a ratio of about 4:3.
4. Relentless in his pursuit of gaining followers and posts early in the morning around 6am eastern. Then starts posting again mid-day. Then again late in the evening.
5. Links to one of his other accounts in his profile description. That other account has 289k.
6. He doesn't use any (#)drive type hashtags like all the other 'gain follower' accounts I see. In fact, he doesn't seem to ever use a single hashtag on any post.
7. He retweets between his own accounts.
Observations on one of my own accounts.
1. I've hit a definitive wall of following people at 5k. Every time I follow exactly the 5k, it says I can't follow any more. My own follower account each time I hit this wall is usually around 4k. So I have to unfollow a ton of people, usually around 300 per day, spread out over course of day. It's a lot of work and of course soon as I unfollow on my accuonts, I start losing auto followers.
