We've updated the Notices section of Settings to better reflect how folks are using Twitter regarding replies. Based on usage patterns and feedback, we've learned most people want to see when someone they follow replies to another person they follow?it's a good way to stay in the loop. However, receiving one-sided fragments via replies sent to folks you don't follow in your timeline is undesirable. Today's update removes this undesirable and confusing option.

Maybe not the best change in the world, I get a lot of followers from people that see people replying to me on twitter

i noticed that too. think the end of twitter is near as i see other changes being implemented very soon.

Yeah, a lot of times, I get followers from people who respond to me, and on their list there are people who they respect, so they follow me too.

It is as it is..

Oh well theres plenty other ways to make money on twitter. Followers smell anyways. I like having zero followers so much i block everyone who follows me.

cheers totally missed that update, one of my accounts totally relies on that feature but might actually be better for me if like me people aint noticed this is happening.
