Is it better to use mobile proxy for Twitter or is residential alright for twitter? Not sure how strict it is there compared to Reddit since I'm coming from someone who's been marketing on Reddit last year.

Residential is usually enough for Twitter unless you’re scaling hard. X seems more focused on account behavior than Reddit honestly. If you’re only managing a few accounts and keeping activity natural, good residential proxies should be fine.

mobile proxies if you need higher trust and long-term stability

What kind of marketing do you do?

Twitter is a slow-loading site. Using a mobile proxy might be healthier and faster.

Mobile proxies are better but twitter leans harder on :
device fingerprinting
account graph analysis
velocity patterns
behavioral similarity

I've been using residential proxies fine for a few months now with close to zero issues

For x, mobile proxies are generally considered safer due to their association with real phone networks, but residential proxies can also work if you use them cautiously and rotate them frequently. Since you're familiar with Red*dit's stricter rules, prioritize a proxy type that mimics organic user behavior on Twitter to avoid getting your account flagged

Residential is fine for Twitter. It's not as aggressive about proxies as Reddit, so you don't need mobile. Just use good residential IPs and don't run dozens of accounts through one IP.

Mobile proxies are the best but also the most expensive. They give your accounts a higher level of trustworthiness.
