I searched the forums but wasn't able to find a clear and definitive answer.

I have a new project where I'll create 5-10 Twitter accounts and will grow them (follow/unfollow) with Follow-Liker. I'll definitely need some proxies and will set up Follow-Liker like this: one proxy = one account.

So far, Twitter won't know that these accounts are linked.

But if I log in these accounts from my browser / desktop twitter application / iPhone app, Twitter will see that I'm switching from one account to the other, liking and replying to people using the IP from my home office.

I want to prevent this. My questions: How can I use proxies with my browser or Twitter apps? Should I stop using the official Twitter app and switch to another client?

I actually love the BUFFER app/client. I'll contact them to see if I can use proxies with their product.
