Just got an email from twitter asking me if I wanted to take part in their promoted tweet program. I signed up and I am going to give this a spin.

I set a daily budget of $50 and max CPC at .75 cents.

Anyone had any experience on twitter and paying for promoted tweets?

So far, we have 206 impressions and one click = .49% click rate and twitter charged me one penny for the click...

this should be interesting...

Its early, I started the campaign today so I will let it run for the next month and let everyone know how it goes...but if twitter is only going to charge me a penny a click, I don't know if I will ever meet my spending limits...

In the promoted tweet, I am offering a coupon code to use at my site where you can get a $20 discount off what I am selling so I think this will get people motivated to buy!

I got the same email today. Paid more for clicks but not very much more. I used the promoted tweet to get people on my list, I have had 27 clicks and 22 people signed up to my list.

Total cost : 42 pence
Estimated earnings : $500+
Actual earnings: $0

Will see how it goes.

I didn't go for the promoted account module, only the promoted tweets and paying for clicks.

The ad set up is pretty basic. I'll let it run and see what happens.

It doesn't sounds too bad, its too early to judge it might take a little more time. However, Good luck with that.
