This is for anyone else out there who may be going through this and having a mini panic attack. All 3 of my accounts that were locked all just went back to normal at the same time I think, and I can use them again like normal. They were all locked at different times, and I tried unlocking them about 20 minutes apart each. So my advice:
Just do the password reset like you normally do, even though your account is still locked. Lol, I was panicking and did the reset about 5 times each. Probably not necessary. But yeah, do the reset like normal, and then just wait it out. I read that someone said their account was unlocked in an hour. Mine took about 3.5 hours to unlock after I did the reset. If this information helps anyone, 2 of my accounts were locked for 15 hours before I realized they were locked, and one was locked for less than an hour.
I'm not quite sure what has been triggering my locks, as I do follow aggressively, as well as tweeting and retweeting aggressively, but I would say that on my end it was probably the spam like tweeting and retweeting that I was doing, that triggered things. Because I haven't done any follows in over 36 hours if not more.
Again, I really hope this helps to save anyone from the sheer terror that I experienced. Haha
