Twitter Over??

This is all great info and advice...... for TAAC.....

Seems like a lot of people are having issues with TA........

Lately I've been doing okay, but I'm mostly just following and unfollowing.... I did load up a few accounts the other day and let them tweet from Tweet Poster module.... just regular tweets about their niche, and once every hour or 2.... they did ok no suspension.....

Maybe everyone needs to set their delays a lot longer.... I know we're all into instant gratification, but sometimes that just won't work....

About footprints - on technical side there is not any footprint or trace from software, I am checking packets with Wireshark (between other things) but other kind of recognition and traces are very possible. DEFAULT RESOURCES in TAAC and other software's for creating accounts are problem, I think. Very few people are thinking about that, blindly using something that XXX users using every day on the same way.
Please post results after next changes:
-Make folder "Twitter Photos" and put it on the desktop, go to Facebook and take bunch of profile pictures from random unknown accounts, just drag them from the browser to the folder. Don't worry for their small size, twitter is resizing them anyway. I am taking photos with two or more persons on the picture, preferably male/female together so regardless the name used for account I have appropriate photo. Also don't try to drag only nice photos with beautiful long hair ladies; take normal, real life photos.
-Other photos that coming by default in TweetAttacks remove or at least rename and resize, possibly recognition footprint is there.
-Other possible recognition factor are names! Most of users just leave default names and surnames that comes with TweetAttacks. Guess what - Names in TAAC are overused, and for sure some kind of word-trigger filter exist, so go to Google, look for sites with baby names, genealogy sites, Wikipedia etc and collect lists of male/female names/surnames and put them instead of default set of names; I am sure that bitching about suspended accounts even before any usage will be drastically reduced. Scrapebox users can use name generator and copy lists to TAAC, or even better - to mix names from internet sources and Scrapebox generator. There are options for prefix and suffix, so make random 2,3 letter-sign-special sign combinations and use them. Anything, any change that is not made by default TA resources is a change to good.
-Locations - go to Wikipedia and copy/paste/edit lists of cities and use them. Try to match proxies and languages, for example its not normal to use proxies from USA servers, for location to put some city from France and to tweet on Italian. Simply not normal, anybody who actually visit profile will see what is going on and probably report profile.
-Biographies - something that match general profile theme and future tweeting. Its stupid to made bio out of some random quotes like "Shoot for the moon because even if you miss, you'll land among the stars" and later to spam them with ringtone offers, Amazon products or tech gadgets/tablets/ipads or whatever. If your niche is tech stuff, make your bio to be like "Tech news and updates coming directly from gadget lover and computer geek who loves to travel." Make full background and story like a real user, look through other user's eyes and try to catch all details that are triggering spam bells. Many of fake profiles going down not because twitter is all of the sudden smarter somehow, but because real people and visitors are getting tired of spammers and with a lot of joy clicking that "report spam" button in the corner. If you make profile that doesn't offend somebody's brain with totally misleading profile data, its a less probably that somebody will report you.

I use tweetattacks pro with no proxy for ~5 accounts with no problem.

I am guessing the socialoomph direct message seems spammy to twitter. What are you putting in your message?

For me, I don't use DM's. All the accounts that were banned today only had auto-tweets from SocialOomph before following with TweetAttacks. I have a large queue resevoir, which is scheduled for one tweet posted to one random account every hour. All tweets are directly related to my industry (nothing sales-related, no spam and no links).

I'll try setting my delays a lot longer like CosmicDebri suggested and see what happens tomorrow.

@TZ2011 - I didn't used any software for creating accounts. I guess that not the main reason for the ban hammer. I got 1 years old accounts banned and all where made by me not some software for creating. Also i didn't send any DM, just a follow/unfollow method with a welcome DM from Socialomph for every person who follows me.

All I can say is that I use Tweet Adder and had no problems.

Are you following/unfollowing 24/7?

Tweet Adder gives you the option of selecting a from:to time, for example, only to work with the account from 8am through to 11pm. This is what I do. So the Twitter accounts aren't doing anything at all from 11pm through the night until 8am.

Could this be a reason why some accounts are being banned?

Also, are the new accounts created on the same IP, or each account is created on a different IP? I don't mean running, I mean actually being created.

If Twitter 'blacklists' an IP, then whenever an account is created on that IP it may be flagged very quickly.

For DM I send one to a random follower every 5 to 10 minutes. When Tweet Adder checks, if I have 5 new followers, they won't all receive a DM, just 1 of them. Maybe this looks far less spammy as opposed to EVERY follower getting a DM?

1 final question: How quickly are you following/unfollowing in seconds?
I only follow/unfollow once every minute or so. Meaning I'll only follow on average 60 people per hour. Much slower than what a lot of people do and that's following every X seconds.

Also, don't forget ratios! Tweet Adder has a ratio setting meaning it'll stop following or unfollowing when the ratio reaches what you put to it. Example: Stop following when the following:followers ratio reaches 1.1:1 - this means far less banging on the Tweet Adder door!

How many accounts are you running per proxy? Do they follow/unfollow at the same time?

I run them off my VPS so they all run off the same IP.

Although I have Tweet Adder set up on the VPS and my PC. I run a few on my PC initially, then transfer them over to the VPS once I'm confident they're running soundly. But the ones on my PC all go off my home IP, so I don't use proxies at all.

Yeah I have them both to follow/unfolow every 1 minute but this isn't exactly 60 seconds it can sometimes be 50 sometimes 70 for example.

If the people who are getting accounts banned are unfollowing/following all day 24/7 then that's surely going to raise a flag. There needs to be a break for several hours otherwise there's no way it looks natural.

Another one of the many reasons why Tweet Adder is so much better than Tweet Attacks.

I don't get how it's better. I have full control over the # of people I follow/unfollow, the amount of time between following/unfollowing and re-running the accounts, randomizing times/ratios, and a hundred other things with TweetAttacks as well. That, and TweetAdder is 3x's the price.

I don't see how either program could be the direct cause of suspensions, since it directly connects using your proxy...so it would have to be operator error (i.e. using a setting that's too aggressive or unhuman-like). My guess is unfollowing too much, too soon, moving too quickly between each follow, or not randomizing things to appear as if it's being done by a human.

I think the footprints of tweet attack would be the lack of a footprint actually ;)...

Does tweet attack has a user agent which could change among proxies (browser, screen resolution, and so on..)

Good point. No, TA (or any other twitter bot) does not have options for changing user agents and faking data for their analytic. But even if somebody make them, most of those settings would be invisible on twitter analytic because most of things are done over proxies that strip relevant data, javascript, referrers, user agents etc.

1 of my account being suspended the past couple of days also. I use TweetAttacks

I dont think twitter is over. Personally my experiences have been good. No account banning. My software is running well. It has taken some time to generate mass traffic to my site though. Patience my friend!

It's because you use software to follow and unfollow. But the unfollowing part i think it's the problem, because I used tweet adder just for following,no problems, when i started to use it for unfollowing aswell, started to get accounts banned on a row ;)

I lost 7/14 of my accounts yesterday. Most with 1k-2k followers. I've been really aggressively following (300-500 a day) and unfollowing, and also posting lots of real tweets. The key to keeping my other accounts, though, was having an email-verified account. The only ones I lost at all were non-email verified. I also had the same profile picture on many of these. So I'm regrouping now, making new accounts, with unique info. They'll never keep me down >:)

I made accounts today, hopefully they will be there tomorrow aswell :) 18 accounts with very genuine names and profile photos + locations.

I will check now again if they are still there.... They are all working :) very happy about that.

I will try to keep this thread updated so we can pin out culprit, my details:
email: gmail
proxies: squid proxies
program: TA
created with: TAAC

I will post new update in a week (i think) if any of my accounts has been banned.

i wasn't using any software and caught the ban hammer of 20 plus accounts. Only thing I was using was twitterfeed to manage rss feeds.

They were getting my main accounts a couple at a time. I contested them all and got about 75% back.

The other day they got most of my main accounts in one swoop. I think they have made their automatic checking a HELL of a lot tighter, and things pretty much suck now.....

Might have to go with a lot slower following unfollowing numbers, higher delays, etc.....

After that, throwin the towel in and movin on..... I was not nearly as aggressive as most people, but finally got whacked hard enough to make me look elsewhere for traffic.....
