Twitter: Now What?

So, a year or two back, I started a blog and an accompanying twitter. The blog never got the kind of traffic I wanted but the twitter did slowly gain followers as time went on and as I kept interacting with people.

Now, I find myself with a twitter that I maintain mostly for nostalgia with around 5K followers that are primarily in the 18-25 age range and female, none of which have been bought.

While I don't really want to get rid of it or pass on the reins to someone else, I am curious how I can leverage this account to do well... anything. I also know that the moment twitter accounts sell out, the others have a tendency to jump down their throat....

Anybody got any ideas?

I'm not really sure what you are asking... Are you asking what do you do with this twitter account?

try to post some tweets from mylikes, maybe some of the vampire type ads they have would get you some clicks and maybe a few bucks

I guess I wasn't clear enough with my question.

Really I wanted a way to make some cash off of said twitter without selling it or pissing off my followers.

5K female followers? Umm i don't think you can do too much with it. May be try putting in some Amazon offers. I was in the same situation a few months back and all I got was ~ $50 out of them lol.

Find someone who sells a product that you can sell to your followers (cosmetics, clothes?), use your twitter to market that product and get commission for each sale you make.
