Twitter maximum following?

Hi...

I was once told Twitter limited your following to 2,000 until you got 2,000 followers, right?

But it seems Twitter still blocks your following after that... Right now I have 2,500 followers in one of my accounts and Twitter limits my following at 2,800...

So, is this limit ever lifted?

I think it is after a certain amount of time but i know some people that have been stuck there for over a year now. I got well above that before they decided to set that stupid limit.

I've heard that there is a ratio you must stay within in order to keep following. Someone made an estimate that your following count can only be 1.2x as much as your follower count. In your case, though, it seems to be less, at 1.12x...

Hi,

Yes you are limited to 2,000 until you reach about 1,850 followers and then it is on a 10% ratio. For example if you have 2,050 followers you can follow up to 10% more than that which is 2,255. As your followers go up so does your following limit.

I've hit this on a few lesser accounts. I removed the protect mutual followers on my tweetattackspro and let it unfollow my normal unfollow limit a couple of times and went back to my normal schedule.

I'm pretty conservative on my limits. I run my cycle every 18 hours and only follow/unfollow 190 to 199 followers per run. It is a bit slower, but I haven't lost an account since I adopted this approach.

In Last 20 days, I have done quite lot of research with twitter. and I found one good solutions.

Get 100 Accounts or as many as you can manage, now Daily add 500 new people according to your niche. now if its 100 accounts, then you can follow around 50,000 people. and You will get at least 10% followers following you back. so, its 5000 followers a day. keep working like this. until it reaches 1800-2000 following per account. Then. Do Unfollow 1000 And those people whom you added at least 3days and who did not follow you back. And then again start following 500 a day. through this way, you can get 5-7k followers every day.. so within 1 month you will get more than 100k followers. And when you will so many followers, You can build One account with huge followers by Promoting that one account to your existing 100 accounts followers. And then You can sell that account or use it as you want.

It is a 10% ratio, used to not be this way. If you started an account before and still have a lot of followers you can still ad plenty of people.
