In a tweet, Musk detailed the revised usage quotas. Verified account holders can peruse a maximum of 6,000 posts daily, while unverified users must contend with a drastically reduced limit of 600 posts.
Then he said :
"Rate limits increasing soon to 8000 for verified, 800 for unverified & 400 for new unverified"

What do you think about it? Should we short Twitter stonks?

It's connected with the situation in France.

Someone is sabotaging Twitter to make news from France less visible.

it will be restored when the situation resolves.

Since I’m not into botting Twitter, I actually like this change. 600 posts per day? If you scroll more than that then you’re having a problem. If you’re serious about Twitter and its your business then buy a verification for $10 (I think?) per month and you’re good to to. IDK why people are stressing too much about this.

IMO is better to limit commenting and posting to avoid shitposting and spamming. As user, I care about what I see and don't feel if someone scrapes some information but all those bots that spam in comments and under hashtags is quite annoying.

Because that's how politics work. it can spread to many countries.

Ideas and behaviors behave like viruses.
We all know that Twitter made it thousands of times, they blacklist words, accounts and opinions if needed. That is why I think that situation is nothing except coincidence with France.

Just another attempt at preventing botting tactics. Slows some down, but spammers will continue spamming.

i think "fuck you!" haha

let it ride. i can alrady see a few attack vectors for marketing, i am just too lazy to do any of it.

It's not Twitter's choice, someone is attacking their servers and forcing them to limit traffic.
