Twitter liking limits

Hey guys,

Found something pretty interesting while doing my general shitposting on Twitter for my personal account.

They are liking hundreds of REPLIES daily. One or two a second, seems to also be by keyword generic ones like ‘Investment, SEC, Crypto, Chart’ etc etc.

They’re account seemingly has no like limit and can like hundreds if not thousands of REPLIES a day. I emphasise the word replies here because they never like tweets only replies to a tweet which may be a key factor.

What do you guys think? Are the limits for liking and following marginally different? Are the limits between liking tweets and liking tweet replies merely non existent?

But are the target accounts still receiving a like notification? I have managed to manually like lots of tweets without getting any message/ban, but it seems that after a while people just stop receiving a notification saying I liked their tweets.

I saw 1-2 accounts that can like 10k+ a day, and one of them doesn't have a blue or gold tick. One of the accounts was created in 2017 and has performed approximately 5.2 million likes, averaging 2420 likes per day until now.

Well I noticed this happening because of a notification - I tweeted something random like an emoji and got a like almost instantly from a gold tick page.

I thought wtf then looked further into it and saw this.

thats true. i have one account where my tweets get liked and i dont receive notifications.
i guess there's a limit on how many notifications i can get daily but idk

Accounts that constantly engage in activities such as liking and following fall into the so-called 'ghost account'. The activities of such accounts do not appear as notifications. However, after waiting, the account returns to normal again.

I noticed you can reply to alot of people as well and as long as every 10 or so comments you change the wording people usually keep receiving notifications.

Use chatgpt to generate lots of phrases worded differently.

well, I might believe that those rates are increased due to usage, I had some restrictions on my personal twitter account because I spent to much time, liking sharing and sometimes comenting on tweets now I spent the same ammount of time but no restrictions and I change between social media some days use more facebook others twitter or Instagram so is not like all time, but when I do I spend 4 or 5 hours consuming content in total liking and following so I believe defenetely they can increase those limits after some reviews because when they restricted my account I couldn't see anything neew in the feed the same tweets for 2 or 3 days asked my friends if they were having problems but no, stopped using twitter after a few days was normal again and the same for a second time, now feel like I have no restrictions so far.

There's no fixed limit for everybody else. It varies from account to account
