I take it back, this was a brilliant move, everyone is buying Twitter Blue to impersonate politicians and brands and this is the funniest shit I've seen in a while.

What a beautiful dumpster fire, I give it about two weeks before he gives up.

With a plan for free speech, which would mean very less manual human content moderation, Elon Musk fired almost all the employees involved in content moderation. Then, Elon Musk realized in a few days that AI is unable to decipher and handle all the various Twitter accounts that are botted, Elon Musk realized in a few days that fucked up AI as it is, is unable to effectively differentiate between allowed & not allowed content. So, then after just a few days, Elon Musk announced that the fired employees will be again hired into Twitter !!!
2 things are for sure, Elon Musk is driving Twitter nuts and Twitter is driving Elon Musk nuts. We folks can have popcorn and enjoy the show.

This will not be enough, he needs more income sources to recover his investment.

The main reason is Twitter going losing day by day, elan decides to charge and become the stage for free speech, I personally welcome this change.

(Twitter) accounts without the blue tick have certain limitations. I guess Elon Musk will redo things in a way that it will soon be something like : The dream is free, but the "free speech" is sold separately. Free speech will come at a price. And then people will feel "Guess what ? F__k free speech, because free speech is not free".
