Is that odd they keep asking every 6 months or so

I don't use Twitter, but I have heard of them asking you to verify your email every 6 months or so before. You haven't done anything that would violate their TOS like spamming, right? If not, then you have nothing to worry about.

Every 6 month? That's strange. Probably you haven't filled in all mandatory fields

If they are mandatory, wouldn't he be unable to proceed with creating his account? But you're on to something there. Maybe Twitter requires more information from you before they stop sending those verification requests.
