why twitter keep locked a lot of my account asking to verify the account by adding a phone number?
is it a new policy ? what is your opinion guys

It's not a new thing. It became very annoying about a year ago, but sometimes you can't do anything to prevent it. You can get locked for a lot of things e.g. aggressive following behaviour or for just posting a single tweet.

I think that's Twitter's way to verify that you are not just a fake user. Twitter has been really strict these days. They are locking accounts for various reasons. Some can't even pinpoint why they are locked out.
