Twitter is updating its algorithm

Did some A/B testing this eve folowing 1000 peeps on my acct vs slow follow every 5 secs for a clients.

Note - my account with a quick follow (I have a button clicker that runs at 9/100's of a sec) vs a click every 5 secs proved that the slow method was much more effective 200 fols vs 850 fol on the slow method. More to follow

Rev... so TWITTER is throttling the speed to which you can follow? Can you please confirm?
 
Glad to see this sort of stuff wasn't only happening on my high follower count twitter profiles.
 
The new update added a minimum of 501ms between followers. I modded my script and was able to follow 1000 people as normal with delays between 550 - 1 second.

I got two of my accounts banned. I don't know the reason but I hope the rest of the accounts will stay safe.
 
It's not just follow/unfollow settings. I had 15 accounts banned yesterday that were only posting. No follow/unfollow yet. Have not found any commonality between the accounts, so can't really say why they were banned.

I also have a gut feeling that its about the tweeting. I have now changed the FL tweeting settings to make any URL unique.
Did you tweet URLs?
 
Just to fully clarify. I had a total of 65 accounts out of 702 accounts banned. 15 of those were only posting content. No URLs. Just 50% text and 50% pics. No retweets, favs, folls, unfolls, URLS - nothing. Still can't find a connection. There is nothing about the IPs or anything that I can pinpoint.
 
Further, all 15 accounts were PVA, and manually created on the proxy they are posting from, so they've never changed IPs. I also run only 1 account per proxy.

So this is super strange.
 
Most of my accounts were banned while unfollowing. I guess twitter is doing some house cleaning. I stopped using bots now and will continue later when the tide subsides. lol
 
I think that we are looking in the wrong place the whole time for explanation for the tweeter banning spree.

As I notice there are people who have a banned account for literally doing nothing, some are only tweeting images and nothing else. i think the main reason our account are banned is becouse twitter have discover the sellers proxies for twitter account creations an banned every fucking account that was maid by that proxy/IP.

If twitter notices that there are like 1000 accounts made by the same proxy, probably they will ban all the accounts. I think this is happening and we really can't know with how many other abusive account we are sharing the same proxy that are account where created.
 
Can't you just use a vpn instead of a proxy? or is it a better idea to use proxy to create accounts? Sorry newbie question lol

I thought the same thing from previous bans that affected by accounts but I changed my method and still got bans. All my accounts are manually created by me, and created on the same proxy that I use to post for each account. And by "proxy" I mean I use my own VPS. I do not buy accounts. I do not use a proxy supplier. Very very very low prob that my IPs have been used for Twitter or any other Social Network. I only have 1 account per VPS. So whilst yes, accounts will prob be banned if too many have been created on the same proxy. That was not the case with my latest losses.

Twitter have broadened what they are looking for. They are not just looking at aggressive foll/unfoll behaviour, or Ips and Ph#s used to created accounts. They are clearly also now looking at what accounts are NOT doing. Ie. Only posting, and not following, being follwed, or retweeting anyone, seems to be a trigger now.

I will test this though, change my method, and see if I can keep my accounts safe for the next round of bans. We'll see
 
Got a lot of accounts suspended. Use FL and Socialoomph for tweeting. Any of you using Socialoomph? I think it is about tweeting. Because all my accounts use the same follow/unfollow pattern, and some stayed alive, the others were banned.

Some of the suspended accounts did nothing at all, not tweeting, not following, not unfollowing, had only 5 followers. Proxy?

I had one big, old, fully legal account locked and had to contact twitter support center. (Everything back to normal now). I suppose it was not a matter of hitting the follow limit or unfollow or number of tweets but rather a combination of everything, like there was a limit on the total amount of action you can do everyday with one profile.
 
They always updating their algorythm now and then =) now you have to update your trick as well
