I propose a test, I think the flawed assumption is that it is rum and coke. Please test a clean shot of rum, see if the account gets banned and then please try a coke (nope the stuff you usually add to your rum) and then see if this affects the twitter account.

It would clear the issue as to if it is the combination or if it might be only one of the ingredients of the three minute drink.

Please post the results to let us know.
I would also suggest doing a similar combination test with some of the other suggestions.

I don't use twitter much, but two days ago I wanted to give a shot and try promote something over there. I got blocked while system was checking for account name availability . Guess I pass.

Same verify problems here....
Verify after verify makes me crazy.
I only follow ( max 90 a day ) and like max 20 a day.
