Twitter is getting SERIOUS - Banned 20 handmade accounts

OK
I don't know if this is happening to other people on twitter
But

1. I created 20 twitter accounts using a program and all accounts had different IP addresses
2. Each account had a personalized background and different picture (non sexy girl just normal)
3. Each account had only 100 (max) friends added per day with Pyrogenic Pheonix twitter desktop
4. Each account had manual tweets done and a few automated tweets (using pheonix twitter desktop) from a list with normal tweeted things, not a single URL was tweeted
5. No tweets were repeated at all, each one was a fresh tweet
6. Each account lasted between 3 and 4 days before they were banned.

I invested a lot of time and energy into this twitter thing but the accounts are all suspended. What could i have possibly done wrong here?

I tried hard to set this up properly, whats going on?
Is twitter just getting ultra strict as a response to spammers?

What was the topic of the tweets? If enough users tag you as spam you'll get autonixed.

I think twitter is responding quickly to any user reporting followers as spam. Either that or they have some new kick ass algorithm to spot automated tweeting.

Anyway, my 20 or so accounts seems to be active. I think twitter is really just cracking down on suspicious activity.

I also make accounts and all seems to be working fine with the clients and with me too.

May be you are missing something somewhere.

One of my accounts has 4500 followers, instead of removing the account from spam they just removed it from twitter search. That's fine with me, i'm still reaching an audience, and a lot of them retweet me on a daily basis.

the content of the tweets were random like going to walk the dog and watching tv and lovinig radiohead's new album
nothing that would be targeted as spam

wow even some old accounts that i had been using for AGES got banned
and these were not even tied to those accounts
WTH
EVERY single twitter account i have is banned
how could they have done that? and figured it out
all of them were created with different ip address and had no spam
how could they have figured this one out

did u use public proxies? coz they might be used by lots of ppl to spam twitter as well

I'm curious, and this is in no way a knock against the Phoenix Twitter Desktop, but I noticed as of the 21st they implemented that the users will also be made to auto-follow the Pyrogenics tweet account, probably not too hard for twitter to just mow through any of their new followers and with about 99% accuracy kill the spam users.

Could be completely wrong, and I would think Twitter has better things to do, but who knows. I actually love the pyrogenics software, but then again I've had it for a super long time

I'm guessing you created them from proxies that are commonly used to spam the hell out of twitter... If not it may have something to do with tracking cookies? I'm just speculating on that one...

I have about 15 accounts that are 100% twitterfeed RSS submits, about 8 months old and have never been banned.. There was obviously some kind of pattern they found.

this happen to me too... all 15 accounts i made 2 days ago are now banned today
this sucks.

cookies, flash cookies? if you created them with different ip addresses, different tweets, different backgrounds, different profile pics, i don't see any other way how they can connect them just the cookies...or you made all of them with the same email address, i hope not
another option if you login to them with the same email address...i don't think they get banned because of spam complaints, it's very little chance that all of your account get banned this way all at once...but twitter connected your accounts somehow, no doubt
