[Twitter] How to start?

Hey guys,
i've made a few hundred bucks on youtube. Now i'd like to switch to twitter. But i got a few questions :

1. Is twitter worth it? Can you make lota money of it?
2. Whats the easiest way to get followers? and how to pull out money of it? I heard about a website called twiends or something, that pays you for posting a tweet or something ..
3. Should i invest into something? Any useful bot or isn't it necessary? Got about 120 $ to invest.
