Twitter Help

I have been using CL for over a year. As the rollacoaster continues, I realize I really need to diversify. What better place than Twitter.

I was wondering if someone could help me get started.

For one, what is CLAD of Twitter, (the absolute best software, no matter what the price). Price is not an object, I just went to buy one software, and learn how to use it.

Also, from what I understand there are a few ways to get traffic to your site using twitter. I am assuming, by replying to tweets, and just posting your own tweets in hopes that your followers will see it. Are there other ways?

I would really like to learn the basics of how people use Twitter to get people to their sites.

Can someone help me get started.

By FAR, the best way to get traffic from Twitter is through the use of MENTION TWEETS i.e., you mention @usernames in each tweet. When you do that, the majority of those @usernames will IN FACT click on their @username link in the sidebar of their account to see who is tweeting about them.

You can do this EVEN if they are not following you.

Do it on a large scale and include a link in the tweet -- GET MASSIVE TRAFFIC.

I'm in the same boat as moneymm, I want to get into twitter just for traffic. Don't even know where to start, I currently have 2 followers and one of them is an e-whore
